Following an Anti-Candida Antibodies, or Candida Immune Complexes Blood test. There are 3 antibodies that should be tested to measure your immune system’s response to Candida – IgG, IgA, and IgM. IgM is produced when Candida first becomes systemic, like a first response
IgG is produced when Candida is present for a long time.

High IgG and high IgM = new Candida being produced in a long term systemic infection
Low IgM and high IgG = no new Candida infection but a long standing current infection
Remember the test looks at all species of Candida
That’s why it can give these variables

Thanks for the information on Candida. I assume the above is also applicable to Candidiasis? Is this Candida Immune Complexes Blood test the ELISA test?
Hi, what does EV mean? My blood test results are in g/L.
Can you please explain what EV means? The reference ranges on my lab tests are given in U/mL. How do I compare these results to your table?
and IgA antibodies explanation please? For example IgG borderline, IgM low negative and IgA “weakly” positive? Thank you..
